Take a moment to think about your favorite photo. The one that makes you smile, takes you back to a moment in time, and brings something from your past to life. That is why we are photographers. Allow us to capture your life, as it is today, in this moment, so that one day in the future you can look back, and remember.

Hello, we are Amanda and Kenzie Buttermore.

We are a mother and daughter photography team that loves spending time outdoors with our cameras. When we are not running for school, work, and photography, we love to spend time together as a family. Our dogs, Kota and Lu, provide us with hours of entertainment and occasionally stop and pose so that we can capture their antics.

Amanda's Story...

I began my photography career like many others, by gradually upgrading my gear so that I could continue to capture my growing family. As the years passed, I realized that I not only loved capturing my family's memories, but also providing friends and family with photos to cherish. Nothing brings me more joy, than presenting a family with photos that capture their unique bond and personality. What a great gift, delivering a photo that can bring back the way one felt, looked, and loved one another at any given moment in time.

My family is one of the most important aspects of my life, and to be able to take this journey with my daughter, Kenzie, is an incredible gift. She was the one who first provided me with a love of photography, and she continues to fuel my passion with her excitement, creativity, and ambition. I am looking forward to sharing our love of photography with you as we capture your family's memories.

Kenzie's Story...

I have always loved animals, especially dogs. Our first family pet was a golden retriever named Makayla (May), and she was my best friend. I would lay on her when I was little to read my books, and take her outside to play every chance we got. We lost May about four years ago and it broke my heart. The photos and memories we captured during our time with May keep her memory alive.

Since then, we opened our hearts to two puppies, Lu - now a 5 year old Yorkie, and Kota - a rambunctious 4 year old German/Australian Shepherd. My mom and I have spent lots of time photographing them, and my love for pet photography was born. Eventually I plan to own my own dog training facility, where I will train service dogs, board pets for their owners and provide them with photographs that will capture their pets adventures. Until then, I would like to provide families with photos that will remind them of the love they share with their pets, families, and loved ones.
